Welcome and thank you for your interest in our school. Lafayette Lutheran School opened in August of 2001 with Pre-K and Kindergarten. Our goal is to grow each year. LLS is currently providing a Christian education for Pre-K through 6th grade. With limited class sizes our small Christian school provides an education for the whole child. LLS is dedicated to the mission of the church and to the importance of providing the best possible education for every child. We believe in an education that reflects a Christian view of the world. We believe that a school that teaches children Christian values and attitudes along with providing superior educational opportunities is what is needed for our children. We believe that this is possible with the full cooperation of the members of the congregation, the school staff, the church staff, the parents, and the children. Therefore, our efforts will be directed toward maintaining the dignity and uniqueness of the children in helping them develop knowledge and Christian understanding necessary for them to become responsible, competent, contributing members of the school and community.
LLS is focused on the following goals:
