Spring Fundraising

The mission of the church is to see Lafayette Lutheran School provide a Christian education for Pre-K through eigth grade. In order to continue our growth LLS needs more classroom space. Because of this the Spring Fundraiser will be dedicated to requesting donations in support of Lafayette Lutheran School's continued development. As a small private Christian school it is important that we receive the full support of the church, staff and parents as it benefits our children's quality of education.

2008 Spring Donation Drive

Our Spring Donation Drive is now underway. Tickets were distributed to parents the first week in March and will be sold through the month of March and April. Each ticket is a request for a $50 donation. As an incentive, with each donation, the donor's name will be entered into a drawing for prizes. The top prize is $5,000. Only 600 tickets were printed, thus increasing the odds of winning. The drawing is to be held in the FLC Fellowship Hall on April 28, 2008 at 12:30pm. 2007 Fall Fundraiser

Our fall fundraiser for 2007 was a Jambalaya Dinner. We sold over 900 tickets and could have sold much more if we hadn't run out the day of the dinner! Many many thanks to all that volunteered and donated items to help us raise almost $5,000. A special thanks to Tony Chachere, Chili's, and O'Charley's for donating ingredients and items needed. More special thanks to The Wood Group for sponsoring the rest of the items needed and sending Ronnie Trahan and Tommie Reasoner to cook for us. At the recent PTO meeting it was decided we will reserve some of the money for next year's classroom supplies. We are now looking into the cost of a much needed covered walk way for in front of the school.
