Message from Headmaster

Welcome to you from Lafayette Lutheran School! At this state-approved campus, we strive to achieve not only academic excellence, but to educate the whole child - physically, mentally, and spiritually. This means the focus is on the educational needs of each student, through our twin pillars of small class size (15 students maximum) and differentiated instruction in the classroom setting under the leadership of Louisiana Certified Teachers. These twin instructional pillars allow us to flexibly address the instructional challenges each learner faces, as well as appropriately involving the families of our students in a loving, Christian environment.

We are pleased that you are taking an interest in our school by visiting our website. There is wonderful information here about our mission, philosophy, teaching practices, school rules, and much more. However, to feel the true pulse of Lafayette Lutheran School, come visit our campus on the grounds of First Lutheran Church at 301 West Farrel Road in Lafayette, Louisiana. Call (337) 984-7860 or send me an e-mail for an appointment, or simply drop by anytime school is in session to observe the dynamic interactions between our excellent teachers and enthusiastic students. We are eager to share with you the joy we have in fulfilling our mission of providing a Christian education to elementary school children. Hope to see you soon!
