Fundraising

Although we have accomplised a great deal here at LLS, there is still much to be done if we are to continue to provide our students with superior educational opportunities. To continue our growth and development, and to help defray the cost of tuition, we need help from people who care about a quality Christian education. PTO Fundraising

In an effort to support the school's continued growth, the PTO sponsors fundraisers each year that allow us to provide valuable learning tools for our children and assist with school improvements.

As a small, private, Christian school, it is important that we receive the full support of the church, faculty and staff, and parents, as it benefits the quality of the education we provide.

2009-10 Fundraisers

We held a jambalaya sale and a Barnes and Noble book fair that provided funds to purchase the Star Reader Program and new books to improve our school library.

2008-09 Fundraisers

Our fall fundraisers included a raffle drawing and silent auction. This provided funds to purchase the Accelerated Reader Program, and to clean and add Microsoft Office to all of the computers in the school. The students also got involved in helping to raise funds by putting on their own talent show. These funds, along with the spring candy sale, helped us update some of our worn playground equipment.

Covered Walkway

In the spring of 2008, the PTO held a fundraising drive with the sole purpose of raising enough funds to add a covered walkway. Donations of $100 were made for a chance to win $5,000. The efforts of the parents and their families paid off. LLS raised $17,000 and added a beautiful covered walkway to keep faculty, students, and visitors dry during Louisiana's inclement weather.

Corporate Educational Money

As parents and teachers, we can help our school earn educational dollars just by doing the things we would normally do. Check out the links below and see how easy it is to support LLS. Tell your family and friends and start earning money for our school by shopping for the things you buy everyday!

Target take Charge of Education

Enroll in the Take Charge of Education. Target will donate a percentage of each RedCard purchase back to our school. If you already have a RedCard, all you have to do is click here to designate Lafayette Lutheran as your school. After you enter the school name, our information will appear, including how much LLS has accumulated so far. If you don't have a RedCard, click this Link to apply.

Community Coffee Cash for Schools

Through the Community Cash for Schools Program® , Lafayette Lutheran School can earn a share of up to $275,000. Simply collect UPCs from Community and CC's Coffee Products. CC's receipts count too! Return these UPC's to the LLS office or put in the Community Coffee bag in the narthex.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education® offers easy ways to earn money for Lafayette Lutheran School through everyday activities such as buying groceries and shopping online. You can:

• Clip Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite General Mills products with each Box Top worth 10 cents.
• Shop over 60 online stores at the Box Tops Marketplace® with LLS earning up to 8% of each qualifying purchase at no additional cost to you.
• Visit the Box Tops Promotions site for ways to win more box tops for LLS. There are many promotions to choose from to earn more.

Box Tops should be turned in to the school's office as you collect them. You can visit the Box Tops for Education website for more information on their school fundraising programs and to sign up for exclusive chances to win Bonus Box Tops for LLS.

Albertsons Community Card

The Albertsons Community Card will pay LLS 1% on the first $50,000 our supporters spend and 5% on everything over $50,000 per quarter. Albertsons has provided LLS the scan cards with our school name. Please be sure to get one from the office today. Pick-up enough to give to family and friends too! Office: 337-984-7860.
